Free case review · fixed prices · never paid in crypto or gift cards

Our promise

Trust is earned in the details.

RecoverWise exists because people who have been scammed are too often scammed again — by “recovery experts” who take the last of their money. We set out to be the opposite: transparent about what we do, what it costs and what it can’t achieve.

Free review. Fixed prices.

Every case starts with a free review. Optional paid services have fixed, published prices — never a percentage, success fee or “release charge”.

No guarantees.

Anyone who guarantees to recover your money is lying. We tell you what is realistic, even when the honest answer is hard to hear.

No secrets needed.

We never need your seed phrase, private keys, passwords or remote access. Never share them with anyone.

You stay in control.

You decide what to share and who to report to. You can download your files or delete your account at any time.

What we are

An independent victim-support service

We help you understand what happened, organise your evidence, map crypto transactions on public blockchains, and prepare a precise reporting plan for the organisations that have the power to act.

We are not a law firm, a bank, a regulator, or a law-enforcement agency, and we are not affiliated with any of them. We cannot freeze accounts, seize funds or compel anyone to repay you. Where you need legal advice, we will tell you so.

How we verify ourselves

How to know it’s really us

  • We only email from addresses ending in @recoverwise.org.
  • We only ask you to sign in at https://recoverwise.org — check the address bar.
  • Case conversations happen inside your dashboard, not on WhatsApp or Telegram.
  • We will never cold-call you or ask you to install software.

How to spot a recovery scam

Recovery scams target people who have already lost money. They are often run by the same groups behind the original scam. If you see any of these signs, stop contact and report it:

  • They contacted you first, already knowing about your loss
  • They ask for an upfront fee, “tax”, “gas fee” or “release charge” before money is returned
  • They claim special access to blockchains, “frozen wallets”, courts or police databases
  • They pose as a regulator, law-enforcement agency or international “fund recovery” body
  • They show you a fake dashboard of “recovered funds” waiting to be unlocked
  • They want payment in crypto or gift cards, or want to install remote-access software
  • They pressure you to act quickly or keep it secret from your bank or family

Already paid a recovery service? Open a case — it’s a separate crime and should be reported.
