How much does RecoverWise cost?+
Your case review is free. If you choose further help — an Evidence Pack (₹2,999) or an Investigation (₹9,999) — you pay one fixed, published price, only after your free review. We never take a percentage of recovered funds and never ask for a “release fee”, tax or deposit.
How do I pay, if I choose a paid service?+
Email [email protected] with your case reference. We send an official invoice from an @recoverwise.org address with RecoverWise’s business bank details. Pay only to that account — never to a personal UPI ID, crypto wallet or gift card. There is no online payment on this website.
Can you get my money back?+
No one can honestly guarantee that. Money is returned when banks act on unauthorised-transaction rules, when funds are put on hold through a quick 1930 / cybercrime.gov.in report, or through police and court action. Our job is to give those organisations the clearest possible case, as quickly as possible, and to tell you what is realistic.
How long will it take?+
We aim to review new cases within 2–5 working days (Monday–Saturday, IST). Complex crypto cases with many transactions can take longer. You can follow progress in your dashboard and we email you whenever something changes.
Do I still need to report to the police?+
Yes — call 1930 and file on cybercrime.gov.in as soon as possible. The acknowledgement number strengthens every bank and platform request. For larger losses, also register an FIR at your local cyber cell.
Are you the police or a government agency?+
No. RecoverWise is an independent private service. We are not the cyber cell, RBI, SEBI or any government body — anyone claiming to be a government “recovery officer” is a scammer.
What evidence should I upload?+
Anything that shows what happened: screenshots of chats, profiles and websites; bank, card or exchange statements; transaction IDs (TXIDs) and wallet addresses; emails; contracts or “certificates” the scammer sent. If in doubt, upload it.
Which file types can I upload?+
PDF, images (PNG, JPG, WebP, HEIC, GIF), Word and Excel documents, text, CSV, email (.eml), ZIP, MP4 video and MP3/M4A audio — up to 25 MB per file and 40 files per case.
Who can see my documents?+
Only you and authorised RecoverWise case analysts. Files are encrypted and never public. Every view and download is logged. We never share your information with anyone without your explicit permission.
Will you ever contact me on WhatsApp or by phone?+
No. We communicate through your secure dashboard and by email from @recoverwise.org. We never call from unknown numbers or message on WhatsApp/Telegram. If someone contacts you elsewhere claiming to be us, it is a scam.
The scammer is still messaging me. What should I do?+
Stop sending money and do not tell them you are reporting them. Keep the conversation history. If you feel unsafe or are being threatened, call 112 immediately.
Can I delete my data?+
Yes. You can permanently delete your account, cases and files from your account settings at any time.
